Gene Slay's Girls & Boys Club (GSGBC) provides high-quality After School and Summer programs to over 787 youth annually, ages 6 through 16 at our Soulard and Dutchtown campuses. Our enriching programs offer a well-rounded curriculum that ensures lifelong success and achievement of the youth we serve.
GSGBC ocuses on academic support, athletics, arts, healthy living, character building, and college and career readiness. We provide high quality tutoring, homework assistance, an on-site social worker, and life-saving skills such as swimming. GSGBC's goal is to improve the lives of vulnerable youth who live in under-resourced neighborhoods in south St. Louis, giving them hope and the tools to attain a stable and secure future.
