G.I.F.T. Business Center Programs and Services
Our mission is to address the lack of access to capital for Black business owners and reduce the local racial wealth gap. We do this by providing grants to Black-owned businesses in Kansas City, with a specific interest in companies that operate in low-income areas, as well as, through our Business Center where we have compiled a wide variety of resources and technical services that are available free of charge to the community through one highly accessible location. By doing this work, we know this will create more jobs and convert an economically disadvantaged area into a place of economic opportunity.
