Genoa-Kingston Middle School implements Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS).  PBIS is designed to teach students positive social skills and to support behaviors consistent with a positive and safe learning environment. We have learned that it is important to teach, model, practice, and praise appropriate behaviors in order for children to exhibit them. 

At our school we focus on Cogs being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.  In order to ensure the success of PBIS, it is imperative that we reward students for displaying positive behaviors that reflect a dedication to learning and citizenship. 

Genoa-Kingston Middle School  wants to create partnerships with businesses that are willing to donate products or funds that can be used as rewards for our students who display consistent positive behavior. Any form of support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
