George Washington Elementary is a Title 1 Balitmore City Public School serving close to 200 students within walking distance of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens Stadiums located in the pigtown community. As a Title 1 school we receive a modest budget which limits our abilities to provide opportunities for our students, families, and staff.
At George Washington Elementary our mission is to honor the scared duty of educating every child in every space of our school through the environment, enrichment opportunities, and experiences. In partnership with staff, students, families, and the community we strive to empower every student to capture their full learning potential. From Pre-Kindergarten to Fifth Grade we immerse our students in a world-class education, instilling the academic skills to succeed and overcome any challenge to become the future leaders of the world.
