Prevent Blindness Georgia was founded in 1965, as the state affiliate of Prevent Blindness, the nation’s leading voluntary eye health organization dedicated to the prevention of blindness and the preservation of sight. With this dedication, the organization delivers no-cost vision screenings, eye exams, and corrective glasses to people of all ages across the state of Georgia.
