At Germain, all of our students follow best practices to be safe, be respectful, and be responsible. We look to famed UCLA Coach John Wooden and his Pyramid of Success as our guide to provide every student with world-class educational tools that ensure they thrive in the 21st Century and exhibit confidence, flexibility, ingenuity, and a respect for individual uniqueness. Our school serves approximately 550 students in grades UTK/TK/K through 5th, led by about 75 teachers and staff. Additionally, Germain is a Title 1 school and therefore receives federal funding to support many of our students that come from families with low incomes. Germain boasts an award-winning School of Advanced Studies (SAS) program and offers several Preschool for All Learners (PALS) and Core Autism classes, which definitely sets us apart from other schools in the area.

The PTA raises funds to host several events throughout the school year for all of the students and their families, as well as the community at large. We eagerly volunteer and work together to: arrange for schoolwide assemblies to encourage standing up to bullying, saying no to drugs, caring for the environment, and appreciating art in all its forms; fund transportation and admission costs for field trips; organize themed Family Nights to enhance our children’s education; celebrate the holidays with on-campus events like a “Trunk or Treat,” a Holiday Shop, a Valentine’s dance and Silent Auction; show our appreciation for the faculty, staff, and parents; and so much more! Our ultimate goal is to support and bring joy to everyone at Germain Academy, which is especially important amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
