Gilda’s Club Chicago is a free cancer support community for anyone impacted by cancer. Founded in 1998, Gilda’s Club Chicago has been present for people when they needed it the most, from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. Our programs included access to more than 300 individual and family activities each month, including support groups, educational lectures, healthy lifestyle workshops, resource referrals and social opportunities. We served 6,721 people who attended 27,671 activities at the downtown Clubhouse, hospital satellites, workplaces and faith communities.
Gilda's Club Chicago is dedicated to ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, resource referrals, healthy lifestyle workshops, educational lectures and social activities.
