Team Turano is a Chapter of the GCRF.
We’re hoping to count on your support for our annual Team Turano GIST Cancer Research fundraiser in support of Angelo Turano who was diagnosed with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor cancer (GIST) in 2008 and continues to battle this disease every day.
Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor or GIST is a rare, orphan cancer. As with any form of cancer, research is the cornerstone to finding a cure for GIST Cancer. Cancer centers and institutions across the United States are lacking the funds at are needed for research and Scientific study to help advance the diagnosis and treatment of GIST.
Every dollar we raise will go directly to GIST Cancer research.
