The mission of Glencoe Youth Football (GYF) and its coaches is to develop each student-athlete’s football skills, sportsmanship and attitude. We provide guidance for all student-athletes in Kindergarten through 8th grade, to help improve their life skills as well as football abilities. We provide each player with a challenging and rewarding experience as a member of a well-organized and disciplined team and a safe environment for all players through teaching each player proper technique and conditioning to ensure their safety. We believe in building healthy bodies and minds, having fun, stimulating community interest in football, and skill development. We accomplish these goals putting the welfare of the players first, without adult ambition for personal glory.
