Glendale is Nashville’s first Spanish Immersion Elementary School. Our students learn Spanish and English in a dual language environment. Embracing the uniqueness of our school, the PTO strives to be the connection point for the school and enhance the students’ and families’ experiences at Glendale.

Welcome to the Glendale PTO website. As our school embraces the uniqueness of our Spanish immersion curriculum, the PTO strives to be the connection point for the school community by investing our time, talents, and money to enhance the educational, cultural, social, emotional, and physical experiences at Glendale.

Glendale has just been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for the 2022 school year! This is a prestigious award granted by the U.S. Department of Education to schools with exemplary high performance or success in closing the achievement gap. Schools can only receive the award once in a 5-year period. (The last time Glendale was eligible in 2016, it also received the award!) This year it is one of only 6 schools in Tennessee named a Blue Ribbon School.
