A volunteer organization that came together to sponsor a refugee family to be able to come to the Adirondack Region to safe haven and a better life. Our family are refugees from Ukraine that fled Kyiv during the war. The family originated in the Donbas region of Ukraine which has been destroyed. We are hosting a grandmother, daughter, and a special needs grandchild with housing, food, and essentials through local donations and fundraisers. Our organization is being run through the Glens Falls Foundation which has enabled us to grant exemptions to donors.
