Gold Network of East Texas was created in 2016 by three cancer moms with the mission to provide emotional and financial support to East Texas families impacted by childhood cancer, raise funds for pediatric cancer research, and raise awareness of childhood cancer.  We serve families with a child currently in treatment for cancer, who have completed cancer treatment, or who have lost a child to cancer.  Once a hero, always a hero.  Our programs include Hospital Care Packages, Caregiver Support Group, and our Hero Hangouts Program, which provides recreational activities for the cancer child and their whole family.  We also give gifts for Christmas and Christmas in July, a call in meal delivery program for families who have travelled to Dallas or Houston for treatment, and a Memorial Scholarship for college-bound childhood cancer survivors.  We are a 100% volunteer organization.
