Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFIDOG) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit Service Dog organization founded in 2014 and located in Walpole, MA.  Our mission is (1) to empower people with a disability to live a more fulfilling life with the love and assistance of a dog and a mentor, and (2) to provide local institutions, such as police departments and schools, with Community Resource Dogs.  All of our recipients are located within 25 miles of our headquarters to ensure a close connection with them and provide ongoing support throughout the partnership between the recipient and their dog.
