Haltom City Chapter No. 982, Order of the Eastern Star is a subordinate chapter under the umbrella of our state organizaton, Grand Chapter of Texas. Our chapter, Haltom City, is raising funds with a fundraising breakfast and silent auction on March 4, 2023 to fund two $1000 scholarships for Haltom High School students. Haltom City is the poorest city per capita in Tarrant County. This is our first year for this event and if successful we plan to continue these scholarships. I is our goal to give these scholarships to first generation college attendees. We routinely throughout the year support the schools in Haltom City with school supply drives and sponsoring families at Christmas. We also actively support the Haltom City Senior Centers Center.
