The mission of the Grand River Area Family YMCA's is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We actively promote our core values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility to each and every one of our participants and community on a daily basis. At "The Y" we show up every day enthusiastically charged with hope for the future and a renewed sense of focus in shaping and changing lives. We offer highly engaging programs and services within our three key pillar areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. It is our goal to never turn anyone away due to financial limitations or inability to pay for programs or general membership.
Our staff team is incredibly passionate, caring, and maintains a very positive and encouraging disposition, welcoming individuals new and old into our facilities with open arms. Here at the Grand River YMCA, we are changing lives, breaking barriers, building bridges, and shaping the future of our service area, one child or family at a time. Here at the YMCA, everyone is significant; the YMCA is truly a shining light to all those who are impacted.
