The mission of Grandma's Place is: To provide shelter and loving care to children who have suffered abuse or neglect and have been removed from their homes; and to provide support to parents/caregivers of children with special needs to maximize each child's safety and success. Our program includes an emergency foster shelter for up to 16 children- from birth to the age of 12 - who have been removed from their home from the Department of Children & Families due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. It operates 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, 356 days per year, with awake staff around the clock. All children, including sibling groups and children with disabilities, are welcomed.
