The mission of Great Hearts Forest Heights, a public charter school, is to foster great-hearted students by educating the whole person in truth, goodness and beauty. Great Hearts Forest Heights offers a tuition free, academically rigorous, classical liberal arts K-7 education, preparing its graduates for success in the most highly selective colleges and universities in the nation.
Our school endeavors to strengthen the intellectual and moral formation of the student, helping prepare each to be a leader in creating a more philosophical, humane, and just society. The school's rigorous classical method combined with the Texas TEKS curriculum is providing a winning academic combination for San Antonio students.
In Texas, charter schools receive significantly less funding than traditional district schools. Great Hearts relies on community support to enhance its exceptional educational programs.
