The Greater Dallas Section of ITE is an organization dedicated to transportation engineering in the Greater Dallas Area. The Dallas Section is part of the Texas District of ITE, known as TexITE. Business lunches are held each month, where attendees enjoy a technical presentation and interaction with their peers. The Dallas chapter is responsible for raising money for local higher education scholarships in DFW, hosting transportation networking events, and providing continuing education opportunities for the professional development of our industries leaders. Through these events, the Dallas Section of TexITE is a platform for our transportation planners and engineers to progress their knowledge for the betterment of our local transportation networks, and, most importantly, serve as an entity that is focused on supporting the future of the transportation and safety industry in providing as many higher education scholarships as possible for individuals registered as a full-time student in an undergraduate (Sophomore/Junior/Senior level) or postgraduate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) program at an accredited university.
