Green Meadow Waldorf School is an independent day school located in Chestnut Ridge, Rockland County, NY. Founded in 1950, we are one of the oldest and largest Waldorf schools in the US. We are an international learning community that prepares students to meet the world as confident global citizens, creative and collaborative innovators, and leaders. Green Meadow’s unhurried developmental curriculum is rigorous; it is designed so that children develop a deep sense of belonging to enter the world courageously, skillfully, and eager to learn. Recognized internationally as a leading Waldorf school, Green Meadow Waldorf School offers an Early Childhood program through Grade Twelve. Our 11-acre campus allows our students access to the natural world, while our proximity to major highways enables us to attract a diverse student body that come from the tri-state area and around the world.
