The mission of the Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund is to enhance the lives of people with HIV/AIDS in the north Texas area by providing financial assistance for critical needs when other resources are exhausted through all other local AIDS organizations.  We also support education in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

The people we help are in unstable situations.  By providing critical assistance we are able to prevent homelessness, unemployment, and emergency care visits.  For example:

• GDMAF was able to pay 1 month rent to stop an eviction. He secured his social security benefits one month later and stayed in the home long term.
• GDMAF was able to replace a refrigerator for an AIDS patient who needed to keep liquid medicine chilled thus preventing the need for emergency care.
• GDMAF was able to make emergency car repairs for a woman allowing her to get to work and keep her new job.

By stepping in with critical assistance at key moments, GDMAF helps people gain stability and dignity in their lives.
