The CARE program at Grossmont College serves a diverse student population including single parents through our Extended Opportunity and Services (EOPS) and Coperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE ) programs. CARE assist students with couseling appointments, educational planing, financial aid petitions, grants, bookvouchers, gas cards, bus passes, school supplies and e-grocery cards each semeter. CARE hosts workshops through out the semster for students to improve their skills.

One example is the time-management workshop at this workshop the student is given materials to hopefully improve their time management while in school and still rasing a family. Another workshop is the healthy relationships and stress reflief technics before midterms and finals and much more. We have special events for their family and children.
