The Groveton Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) serves the more than 700 students (Kindergarten - 6th grade) and 150 teachers/staff at Groveton Elementary, a Title 1 school. The PTA provides grants to teachers so they may take students on field trips, purchase educational materials not covered by the county and classroom supplies. The PTA also sponsors the spring Spelling Bee competition and the Spelling Bee Club, which is available to all students at no out-of-pocket cost.
