When a child in Guelph or Wellington County is living with a rare, debilitating syndrome, a significant illness, or a life-altering injury, the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, in partnership with our community, steps in to serve the child and support the family, to make the child’s life a little happier. We work with each individual and their family to deliver the wish that’s just right for them, whether it’s a dream holiday or meeting everyday practical needs. We are a local charity that is 100% funded by our community.
Each wish kid is provided with a $10,000 Wish(s) to be used at the discretion of the family and overseen/approved by our program committee.
We provide hope, strength and joy to children and their families during a very difficult time. We partner with our community, our tireless volunteers, and the generosity of many individuals, groups and businesses, to provide a special experience or family necessities to all deserving children who are facing a significant or life-altering disease, injury or medical challenge in our community. On occasion, we also support other organizations in the community that serve these children.
