Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota's mission is to provide safe, simple, affordable homes to families in need.  We help families thrive through homeownership.  Houses are built for & purchased by people who do not qualify for conventional loans.  Habitat homeowners see their children thrive & excel, safety & health improve, families tend to become more involved in their communities & their communities benefit from the tax base. 

While the direct beneficiary will be Habitat for Humanity, the funds raised at our event will be channeled back into the homes we build and sell to our "Partner Families".  We also have recently initiated a Veteran’s Designated “Aging in Place” program.  We have a vision to help more people each year in our community of five counties.  

We have built 74 homes and currently have 39 mortgages.  We do not give houses away.  It is a hand up, not a hand out.
