Our Mission: To lead, inform, and involve members of the congregation in mission beyond itself. With the pastor, the Mission Team will extend care to the congregation. The Mission Team identifies specific mission projects and actively involves the congregation’s participation. We promote the contribution to the special offerings of the United Church of Christ throughout the year.
Our congregation seeks to live out our faith by serving those in need. We have a variety of on-going as well as special activities and collections to support the larger community. We collect items for local food banks, make blankets for children and teens in need, volunteer at the local soup kitchen, hold a diaper/wipe drive, support local families at Christmas, provide meeting space for community groups such as AA, GA, Al-Anon, Boy/Girl Scouts, Suicide Support Group and others.
As new needs and/or crisis in the community/community-at-large arise, our mission team responds and provides needed support.
The 12 beneficiaries that our mission has served, are specific community organizations that serve an infinite number of people.
