HOME will provide homeless, at-risk and LGBTQ youth in the DFW area transitional housing and social services to empower and equip residents towards self sufficiency. The purpose and heart of HOME is to help young people find not only a place to sleep today, but to find hope for tomorrow. Many of these youth need a place to lay their heads, a meal, clean clothes and a sense of belonging. Our desire is to first, meet their basic necessities by giving them a home while they continue their education, receive counseling and any mental health or addiction treatment. Then, we want to empower them with life skills, prepare for college or career training, and give them the support to reach their dreams. For too long, this group has been told that God doesn’t love them... we want to show them that He does. We will meet their physical needs while encouraging them spiritually and emotionally. We want to help them become healthy and productive members of society and have hope for a future.
