Our mission is to create a community where children can learn and grow to their true potential, in an environment that fosters independent thinking and allows each child to gain the confidence within themselves to become life-long learners.
Our little red schoolhouse provides…
· The Montessori Method that has been scientifically researched and proven over time to provide the optimal environment for a child to grow into their best self. (AMI & AMS trained staff)
· An option of full or half day, 4 days a week or 5 days a week
· Low teacher-student ratio
· A “let me do it” friendly environment (child size and reachable)
· Outdoor time beyond recess (drop off on nice days, lessons, activities)
A little bit about Montessori…
The classroom is carefully set up to provide a child-friendly environment. Materials are presented to the child in a form of a lesson. The lesson is designed to leave the child with independent practice. The child has a morning work cycle in which they can use the materials they have had lessons on, provided it is available on the shelf.
The typical Montessori classroom offers different areas to meet the child’s needs/natural drive.
