Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, neglected and abandoned horses. We work closely with county sheriff's departments when horses have to be removed from owners due to neglect or abuse. The majority of the horses we accept are emaciated, nearly starved to death, or come in with significant injuries and wounds, and sometimes both of these situations are applicable to a horse. As one could imagine, these re-feed and wound care costs are significant.
