HARBOR Unlimited is a faith-based organization that works with people of all ages, and their families, who are living with a “different ability”, of any kind, it can be physical, neurological, developmental, or even temporary. HARBOR does this through recreational activities, offered at very low or no cost.  All events are adapted to meet the needs of each participant.  One of our monetary goals is to be able to offer all or our activities and events at NO cost.

H – Hope
A – Achieve
R – Reach
B- Believe
O – Open Arms
R – Relate

These are all things we want our families to receive through our programs. Our Mission is to provide Open Arms for ALL abilities and their families to experience unlimited opportunities. Our Vision is inspiring people of ALL abilities to achieve their potential… emotionally, spiritually and physically for an abundant life.

At HARBOR Unlimited our programs include fun monthly activities, called Launch events, which include arts/crafts, game night, a master chef event, recreational sport events such as water and snow skiing and so much more. HARBOR Unlimited also offers an annual 4-day Day Camp called Camp Lighthouse. Our oldest participant is 55 and our youngest is 12. Camp is held at a Christian Ranch and consists of 3 days, doing all the fun camp things... fishing, boating, swimming, field games, hikes/nature walks, campfires, smores and more.  The 4th day we move the fun to an area lake for adaptive water skiing, tubing and boat riding. Skiing can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual… so participants can ski or learn to ski in the traditional way or participants can choose to “sit ski”. There is nothing better than watching someone do something that they never thought they could do or never thought they could do again.

We would also like to see change in the community, so we hold most of our events in the community where others can see that a person's "abilities" do not define them and with the proper supports and adaptions, the sky is the limit. Educating the community is a key to enriching the lives of people with different abilities. Another future goal for education is to begin a Speaker Series twice per year. Each series would be 3 months in a row, with a different topic, related to our community, each month. The goal is to pull in experts on these topics who will speak and then answer questions on that topic.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
