The Hartford Select Baseball Club will be hosting its 9th Beer and Wine Tasting. This event is the largest fundraising event held by the HSBC. A variety of Beer and Wine samples are brought in and set-up at the Chandelier Ballroom where adults attend and participate along with a silent auction and raffle. We are hoping to make this our most successful year yet!
We are writing to you in hopes you will consider contributing to our biggest fundraiser of the baseball season. Your generous contribution would be made into baskets for the silent auction bidding, which will directly affect players and their families within the Hartford community. Gift Cards to your restaurant or business, valued at $25 or more, will be used in our Gift Card raffles. Other donation items such as sports related memorabilia, health and wellness products, and local merchandise are perfect examples. This has proven to be the ultimate advertisement for your business and/or products.
The profit made from this event will be used to provide necessary resources (i.e., equipment, league/tournament fees, umpire costs, field maintenance). As a result, we are able to lessen the annual cost for each player, thus providing more families the opportunity to register players in our select baseball program.
