The Harvard Firefighters’ Association is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

 

          Including: 

To support the aims and objectives of the Harvard Fire Department. 
To assist the Harvard Fire Department’s members, the firefighting community, and the community at large in times of need, including, but not limited to, the social and economic welfare of individuals, their spouses, and families. 
            Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, this organization shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding provision of any future Unites States Internal Revenue Law.
