Have Hope Ministries was founded in March 2018. Our mission is to give hope to individuals/families who may feel hopeless in a difficult time. We do this by helping to supplement their grocery budget with gift cards from grocery stores that are local to them. Our target area is to help households that don’t qualify for much, if any, assistance in the way of SNAP benefits. With inflation increasing, the need for our services are growing faster than we have resources.
Our “Gift Card” program is a six-month program that gives a $200 grocery store gift card every month for six months. A household only can receive assistance every two years from the month of the last gift card.
To date, we have helped 28 families and have given out over $14,000 in assistance. Currently, we have 14 families on our waiting list that needs help.
