In 2004, our son, Hayden, was born with the Congenital Heart Defect known as Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome. Congenital Heart Defects are the #1 birth defect and impact over 25,000 babies a year in the US alone. It’s hard to believe it has been thirteen years since we founded Hayden’s Heart Heroes with the goal to give something back and allow other children to benefit in the same way Hayden has. Thanks to the contributions from local businesses, community members, other pediatric cardiology families and our family and friends, we have raised over $215,000 for the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Cardiology and Johns Hopkins Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
It is our hope to have local businesses, organizations, individuals and corporate sponsors participate again this year by becoming a sponsor, donating gift certificates to be used for our silent auction, merchandise for door prizes as well as monetary donations. We would love to say that with your help we raised more funds and awareness than ever before. All sponsorship and donations will be listed on both our web site and tournament brochures. Any donation would be gratefully appreciated. 100% of proceeds received go to these two departments, with all operating costs absorbed by our family.
