The Hazlet First Aid and Rescue Squad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1946 consisting of compassionate, caring volunteers striving to make a difference in the lives of others and assist the local community. Since its beginnings, the squad has positively impacted our community. Today, the squad responds to approximately 1,700 calls per year. To face this demand, members receive the best training in first aid and rescue techniques available. At the present time, there is no cost for the voluntary services provided by the squad. Our main source of income is through fundraising and donations.
