The HCC STL Foundation's mission is: to strengthen Hispanics’ participation in the St. Louis community through leadership development. This is done through programming and events catered to Hispanics and Latinos throughout the St. Louis metro area, in order to develop them into inspirational leaders and engage them with the St. Louis community.
The Foundation has two main programs: the Hispanic Leadership Institute and the High School Hispanic Leadership Institute. the HCC STL Foundation is the only organization in the St. Louis Metro area to have developed a leadership program intentionally for Hispanic and Latinx people in the area. In 2022, both HLIs served 40 aspiring Hispanic leaders and helped them develop skills and knowledge to help them stand out at work or school. We also started our women’s golf clinic, Gals on Green, this year with the hopes of increasing the participation of women in golf, which is often used in a business setting. We hope to grow HLI and Gals on Green to encompass more of our populations, such as Hispanic/Latinx college students and new immigrants.
