Heart of Acara FOundaion works collabortatively with the clinical teams at Acara Hospice to meet the non-medical needs of hospice patients. Such needs may include
- Last Wish request such as outings, family reunion, attending a final game of a favorite sports team
- assistance with rent/mortgage payments that have been impacted due to terminal illiness
- assistance with household expenses such as replacing airconditioners or heater for comfort
- assitance with grocery, utility or fuel expenses
