My husband and I started this nonprofit in 2015 after we lost our daughter Monti to a congenital heart defect in 2013. She was a month old and the bravest little soul we'd ever met. The research is so underfunded for these defects and they take way too many of our babies. When we left the hospital without our child they had cleared our bill we had left over from staying in their low cost dorms so we set out with a mission. We worked with Boston Children's to set up an earmarked fund to offset the costs of any families leaving the hospital after the unthinkable just like we did.
Our fundraising goals: Fund research to send heart kids home with their parents for longer and support the parents for when they can't.
