Our mission is to improve the quality of life both physicaly and emotionally of adults and children of all ability levels through equine-assisted activities such as adaptive riding, hippotherapy, and adaptive carriage driving.
Our vision is to provide life changing, holistic, therapeutic opportunities to our participants.
HETRA serves a variety of participants including children and adults with disabilities such as cerebral palsy spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, brain tumors,head or spinal cord injuries, visual impairments,autism, developmental delays and strokes. Hetra also provides services / options for the Veterans/Service members and First Responders in our community. Hetra offers a year-round comprehensive Life Skills Training Program for individuals with disabilities.
