Heartland Hope Mission is the largest food pantry in the state of Nebraska. We serve the working poor by providing food, clothing, hygiene items and household items. Any family in need can come to our pantry and receive a week's supply of groceries for their entire household. We distribute non-perishable as well as perishable items such as eggs, fresh meat, fresh produce, bread and milk. In addition, families are able to visit our clothing facility and shop for the clothes their family needs. All our services are free to our clients. Our program also offers 1 on 1 help to first time clients by meeting with a Client Service Specialist who is able to screen them for SNAP (food stamp) eligibility as well as direct them to community referrals for any other needs that they may have.
