The mission of Hearts for Homes is to improve the living conditions of low-income senior homeowners in Denton County.
It is an outreach providing hope and dignity through home rehabilitation and maintenance, affording low-income seniors, ages 60 and older, a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning home in which to age in place.
Typical work includes painting, caulking, roofing, plumbing repairs, siding repairs and yard clean up. Hearts for Homes coordinates with local agencies churches, elderly service providers and community groups to identify low income elderly homeowners in need of assistance.
