Heartstrings Community Foundation provides unique employment for adults who have developmental
disabilities. We teach the necessary skills to successfully run and operate businesses owned by HCF. We
also coach people in community jobs. With a staff of eighteen and 48 employees (people we serve) we
run 3 successful businesses in Johnson County, Goody Delivery ( a mobile snack service), Sacks on Santa
Fe (a re-sale boutique) and HeArtfully Made (original design hand-crafted cards and decorative items).
Our employees interact with the general public through their work every day growing their skills and
building relationships, while earning a paycheck. Heartstrings' employees lives (and the lives of their
families) are dramatically changed through their experiences and career development.
