Hello Neighbor is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization founded in 2017 committed to supporting recently resettled refugee and immigrant families. In addition to our cornerstone Mentorship program, our Smart Start program helps refugee and immigrant mothers navigate the healthcare system and access resources during and after pregnancy, and our Study Buddy program provides one-on-one tutoring for middle and high school aged students. We are also a federally approved resettlement agency as of Fall 2021, which allows us to provide refugee and immigrant families a warm welcome and network of support from day one, while continuing to provide post-resettlement support.
