HELO is a 501c3 non-profit organization based out of Connecticut and provides a home, education, love and opportunity for over 60 children/young adults. HELO is located in Les Cayes, Haiti. We have provide schooling for K-13 and have over 300 children in our schools.
Our schools have been recognized as one of the top schools in the southern part of Haiti. We provide skills and resources to the children/young adults so when they graduate, they will be able to find a career/job of their interest and make a difference in Haiti. All of the children at HELO are provided with 3 meals a day. The children who attend our school are provided with one hot meal every day as well.
We currently have a vocational school in place that is providing children and community members the opportunity to get certified in their area of interest and get a job within that field. We also have a nurse who provides care to our children/young adults as needed. HELO has a lot of opportunities for the children and staff to get involved and make a difference.
