Hemophilia Ontario is committed to improving the health and quality of life for all people with a bleeding disorder, and to find a cure.
Hemophilia Ontario works towards this mission through:
* Direct communication and advocacy with the Hemophilia Comprehensive Care Centers where individuals with hemophilia and other related blood conditions obtain treatment and information.
* Advocacy to ensure the safety, accessibility and portability of all products and services used in the treatment of hemophilia and related blood conditions, and to ensure the highest quality of life for people with hemophilia and other related blood conditions infected through the products used in their treatment with HIV, Hepatitis C or other blood pathogens;
* Assisting in providing funds for medical research in the development of cures for hemophilia and related blood conditions, and in direct psychosocial-economic research of our membership to ensure Hemophilia Ontario’s programming is meeting real needs;
* Education of our membership, the care community and the general public about life with a bleeding disorder its treatment.
