The Hempstead Public Library will be launching this year’s Summer Reading Program. Our goal is to encourage the children in the Village of Hempstead to read over the summer months while school is not in session.  There will also be other library programs scheduled during the summer recess to keep them involved in educational activities.

As an incentive to reading books, we offer prizes to participants to mark their achievements.  We would greatly appreciate any contributions – school supplies, toys, gift cards, admission tickets, that you could make to this program
