Mission Statement:
Hendersonville Performing Arts Company is a not for profit community theater dedicated to providing high quality artistic and educational experiences in Sumner County, Tennessee. HPAC operates around the core belief that the performing arts instill empathy, celebrate diversity, encourage connection, and enrich the lives of those who take part in them. Through exceptional theatrical experiences, HPAC strives to foster a sense of belonging in our community by encouraging the residents of Sumner County and all of Middle Tenneessee to engage with the local arts and providing a safe space to train and support the next generation of theater artists.

We are Hendersonville's community theater and have been in existence for over 25 years. We are a non-profit 501c3, and our mission is to entertain and engage the Middle Tennessee communities! We have over 7,000 audience members each season visit us. We have youth enrichment programs for kids that serve over 200 elementary, high school and middle school students each year. And we just started acting classes for youth which are going to reach even more children! We also have over 200 volunteers from the local community who help with everything from acting, singing and dancing, running lights and sound, working backstage, directing the shows, ushering, running the concessions stand. We are mainly powered by volunteers from the community, which is a powerful testament to our reach in Hendersonville, Sumner County and all of Middle Tenneessee.
