The mission created 99 years ago continues today, and it will remain so as Hendrick Medical Center moves into the future, striving to deliver high quality healthcare emphasizing excellence and compassion consistent with the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
The care of a child's health is perhaps the highest calling to which Hendrick staff can strive. That is why we devote special resources to the unique needs of children, from tiny blood pressure cuffs to the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Children not only require a wider range of equipment and supplies, they also require specific professional skills, extra caustion and more time from their healthcare givers.
No one cares more fro children than Hendrick Health System, and no one cares fro more children than Hendrick Health System. Last year we treated over 40,000 children, more than half of which were under age 12. The children served come from diverse cultures, including various economic and ethnic backgrounds and were treated wtihout regard for ability to pay.
