Hennepin County 4-H, a local 501(c)(3) organization, needs your help to continue enriching the lives of local young people. The 4-H Federation is holding a fundraiser in the form of an Online Auction – the proceeds from which fund education programs for 4-H members across the county. The 2018 Silent Auction will launch at the Hennepin County Fair (Lions Park, Corcoran, MN June 15 to 17) and close on Family Day during the Hopkins Raspberry Festival (July 14).
The 4-H experience teaches young people leadership, citizenship and life skills. Educational programs are diverse – ranging from photography and public speaking to animal husbandry. Members can choose to compete at local, regional, state and national levels as well.
To make the Online Auction a success, we depend on donations from generous people like you. Both physical items and gift certificates of any value are welcome and appreciated. We’ve found that items valued at $25 or higher attract more multiple bids, thus increasing the potential proceeds for the youth we serve. The deadline for actual receipt of donations is June 13.
