The 2023-2024 school year marks Puffer-Hefty PTA’s 95th year of providing funds and services to children at Henry Puffer Elementary School in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Henry Puffer, located in northwest Downers Grove, is a Title 1 school serving nearly 400 Pre-K-6 students with various physical, social, and academic needs. Additionally, our school is one of the District 58 sites that houses the highly recognized Grove Children’s Preschool. This program provides support for students with special needs, students identified as at-risk for future academic success due to economic factors, and typically developing children.
We come to you with a donation request for our annual Spring Fundraiser on April, 26, 2024 at Suburbanite Bowl located at 201 W Ogden Ave, Westmont, IL 60559. We will be hosting a Bowling Night which will include bowling and games along with a silent auction, and raffles. In past years we have been able to raise over $40,000 for our kids and are hoping to exceed that this year with your help. Past year’s projects included:
Health and wellness initiatives, including our all-school “Lung Run”
Student enrichment activities such as field trips, assemblies, Field Day and Author Fest
Library, technology and teacher enrichment
High school senior scholarships to Henry Puffer alumni
We would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to provide whether it be monetary, sponsorship, gift certificates, or any other in-kind donation. All proceeds will go directly back to our school to benefit our students.
