Hesby invovled Parent's mission statement is: "To embrace the challenge of leadership by cultivating knowledge, empathy, and citizenship." As a board, this mission drives us to fundraise money to bridge the gap in education that LAUSD cannot provide for our children. This includes a school nurse 5 days a week, an art teacher, PE teacher, computer teacher, supplies for our teachers, among other enrichments. Additionally, we build community by holding events for our famlies such as a fall festival, school dances, and movie nights. Every child in our community benefits from our fundraising and community building efforts.
